After Jill got her face painted (gift from Nana) to look like Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, wee slowly made it through different attractions, like the jungle walk, then got on the safari ride (see pictures below). Jillian, Brooks, and I got fast passes to the one water ride, very similar to the raft ride at Great America, and boy was it a nice heat relief! I got some AC in the Baby Care Center while nursing Elliott, though. We all got some AC watching a fantastic musical version of Finding Nemo, too. Well worth the wait!
We left a little early and crashed at the resort, then got some time in the pool--VERY NICE!!! I will have to get some pictures from my mom to post as well. :) Elliott even liked it after he got used to it.
Pre-princess...the face painter lady said that most AK face painters only know the faces offered at AK, like lions, butterflies, zebras, etc. However, she also works at Magic Kingdom some times, so she knows the princess faces, so Jillian got her request.
Princess Aurora for the day!
The safari was really neat. Overall, it was more like a zoo, so it wasn't as impressive, being Brookfield Zoo regulars, and now members, thanks to Dad. :) Still, it was neat to feel like we were on a safari :)
